Longest wait for me so far, even if there weren’t corrections needed. Sent a Form 4 individual 9/18/17 with stamp received the day after this one (4/3/18). Six months faster accd to check cashed dates.

LGS also got a correction letter today on my 4/12/17 check cashed Form 4 with same 1 RP trust for a different can. The correction request is something I caught back on 6/29/17 that I fixed and then emailed the corrected pages back to them along with an explanation letter. That either never made it to the right person or it was rejected and I wasn’t informed. Either way I won’t send them any more corrections unless asked. My guess is that it put my Form 4 back at the bottom of the pile because the new correction request letter arrived same time as the above approval. Both my correction letter and the Salvo Form 4 were sent same day…lesson learned.

Didn’t expect the Salvo stamp to arrive for awhile, so pretty happy on that. Mailed new corrected Form 4 based on letter recd today for the 4/12/17 can so hoping to get that one approved pretty soon as well.

So here’s the odd thing. I called for the first time in 6 months on Friday 2/16/18 about a different can that had a check cashed date of 4/12/17 and was told it was approved 1/5/17 and to check with the dealer on the stamp. I then asked about the Obsidian stamp above and was happy to find out that was also approved, on 2/9/18, and I’d see the stamp soon. I talk to the dealer pretty often, but gave them a call about the missing Jan. 5th stamp and confirmed they never got the it.

So I emailed a scanned signed letter asking for a certified copy of the lost stamp that day. On Tuesday 2/20 (2/19 was a Federal Holiday), I got a call from the examiner who sounded confused as to why I asked for a duplicate since my Form 4 was not approved yet and was sitting on his desk and was “about 2 weeks away”. No idea what the person I talked to Friday was looking at. The following day it dawned on me that maybe that person was also wrong on the Obsidian, so I called again and confirmed that one was indeed approved.

So the one I sent in 7 weeks prior is likely to get approved about 3.5 weeks later, or a 2.5 month delay compared to the Obsidian stamp. Pretty random but happy to get the Obsidian and know another can is almost here (hopefully).

Update: Stamp received 6/13/18. Seems like an average of 10 days after approval for me. This one was 9. WV to WI.
