I call every 2 days once I see that someone has been approved with a submittal date after mine. I never want to have to wait 59 days after approval to receive my stamp again.

Keep bugging the ATF. My Form 4 took over six weeks from approval to stamp-in-hand. After 30 days, you can request a certified copy of your stamp; which I did. My original stamp showed up while I was waiting for my certified copy…postmarked almost a week AFTER I had requested the copy.

It could be sitting on somebody’s desk at the ATF still.

Similar thing happened to me. I called the ATF to ask about my certified copy two weeks after I requested it. They said it was mailed to days prior. While waiting for it to show up, my original found its way to my to my SOT’s mailbox. A week after that, my certified copy arrived.

Funny story:

Form 4 approved on 8/12.
Sent request for certified copy on 9/11 (30 days later).
Called ATF on 9/21 to ask for update. Was told my certified copy was mailed on 9/19.
Original Form 4 arrives at dealer today on 9/25.

The kicker; the envelope was postmarked for 9/22!

Now, I’m curious of my certified copy will ever show up :).

I called the atf yesterday to ask how to request a certified copy. They directed me to write a letter and email it to them.

I was told my certified copy would take approximately three to five weeks! Hopefully the original stamp shows up some time before then…

I’m in the same boat. My Form 4 was approved 8/12 and it hasn’t reached my dealer’s mailbox yet. Five more days and I can request a certified copy.

I might be in a similar boat. My Form 4 was approved August 12 and has not shown up at my SOT (24 days). I’m curious what the process is like for getting a certified copy from the ATF after 30 days.

The November 12th approval is mine. Called the ATF earlier today and they said it was approved on Saturday, the 12th. Looks like they’re still at least working Saturdays to get forms through.

9 months to the day from check cashed to approval. It’s going to be a looooong week waiting for that call from the FFL.
