As expected, Paul “Rhino” Ryan has shelved the Hearing Protection Act and it has been killed for all intent and purpose. The next bill to fall will be the Share Act. Worst case is that the national gun control act will be revived and cover ALL semi-auto firearms. This is not a good time to be a gun owner.

  • I understand that congress is the only body that could repeal the NFA of 1934. My question however is, since AG Loretta Lynch modified the process of obtaining approval and issuance of the $200.00 tax stamp, why can’t our current AG, Jeff Sessions do the same and cut out the fat in the process. It’s not the Hearing Protection Act but could be an…[Read more]

Purchase suppressor from SS. Form 4 submitted 6/12/16 pending 7/22/16. Called today and was told that it is still pending but they are now processing mid July 2016 submissions. The lady told me “hang in there, it should be just a few more weeks”. That will put me into mid-July 2017 and over a year since my purchase date.

Eaglearcher20, there should not even be a “process” but as there is, I agree it should be automated and done at point of purchase, as the HPA is meant to accomplish. However the HPA has been sitting in committee and is dying on the vine. The passage of the HPA should be a slam dunk with a Republican majority in Congress and a president willing to…[Read more]
