Had to wait on the odessa to come back in stock, which was the worst because the real wait just started. Let’s see how long this one takes… my gunsmith said he has seen approvals lately around the 70-100 day mark.

      Odessa 9
      Bought: 12/26/19
      Back in stock: 4/28/20

I would really like to say don’t worry, it won’t happen that fast… but we know after bumpstocks that executive action is possible.
In my personal opinion, I think if anything were to happen it could be similar to machine gun regulations.
We all would love for mg’s, suppressors, sbr’s, and sbs’s to be fair game and repeal the NFA.. so a ban is very disheartening to think about. One thing is for sure, it’s a good idea to have them, and have many.
I’m looking to get 2 more cans if they go on sale in the next couple months.

Spread the good word and educate your family/friends/neighbors/peers, anyone who will listen. Teach them the truth and respect for firearms and accessories. That’s the best defense in my eyes to change the conversation from the brainwashing generic trash that is pumped through social media and news networks about how everyone should be fearful of them.

Look at europe – extremely strict gun laws – suppressors are fair game.

      update:

      sandman s
      bought: 5/24/18
      check cashed: 6/27/18
      contacted my congressman 12/17/18
      approved: 4/5/19
      can in hand: 4/17/19

A few thoughts: I called occasionally to check the status and every single time they said pending, even up to the end. Contacting my congressman did not help the process at all, the wait times are the wait times. However, if you are experiencing issues or much longer than normal I would suggest contacting your reps. At the same time, it IS important to contact them and feed them your thoughts on the process in order to shed light on how the NFA is an infringement. So basically what I am saying is: everyone contact their reps and voice your opinion and experiences with NFA items.

      STILL PENDING.
I called this morning and got the extremely unenthusiastic lady who said I am still pending and that they are averaging 9 months right now because of the shutdown. I asked what I can do to make it to the next step it’s been 8 months and there’s been no change, what gives. She said give it more time…

Wow, I learned a ton of information in those last few posts.

      Sandman S
      5/24 Bought
6/27 Check cashed (not happy about that month of time)
      12/17 Contacted my FL congressman
      ??? Approved

The ATF says they are averaging 7 months right now, which seems accurate based on the tracker.
I hope for a better future for this process, because this is painful and I haven’t even been waiting as long as many others on here.
