Its been a while since I got my last can. I got mine just as they changed the system and it took 360 days. I ant to get another and I am confused. I am seeing folks only taking less than 60 days to get approval on suppressors with form 1? Am I missing something?

Did the AFT throw on the brakes or did folks stop sending in their data? Just seems like very few posts of folks getting approved it seems to have stalled at 6-28. With a 7-12 date its aggravating.

So I guess the reason I am really aggravated now that I have read for the first time that the SS actually help up my form for for over 30 days is to keep from getting serial numbers crossed with forms 3s. I had called the SS on 4 separate occasions as I was new to this and depended on their advice. NO one EVER TOLD me they were gonna hold up my form 4 for over 30 days. If I look at it from the time I paid for my in-stock can till I can realistically expect to take possession of it it will be right at a year. June 2nd to be exact. If the folks at the SS shop had been up front with this information it would not have been aggravated because I would have expected the wait and actually been understanding. Instead its gone form 7 months to a year.

I see I am not alone in my displeasure with the SS. I purchased my can on June 2nd I was told it would only be a few days and my paperwork would be off to the ATF. 35 days later they finally got around to sending it. I have a pending date of July 12. Look if it was gonna take that long to process my paperwork tell me so. Don’t blow smoke up my ass. What I have been quoted by SS for official wait time has gone from 6 months to now 9 months. While I fully intend on purchasing another can it wont be from the SS. Just be honest and tell folks up front what the time perimeters are. Had they been up front from the beginning I would not be as annoyed as I am now. The way it looks now my actual wait time will end up between 11 months to 1 year from the date of purchase. And yes the can I bought was in stock

I’m not on here to bitch and cry just trying to figure out actual wait time.I see 8 months and 9 months. The closer your check cashed date gets to the cut off of the old system, take it the longer it gets. So realistically

. I’ve seen date ranges on here form June 1 – June 22 June that have already been approved. I have form 4 trust. I realize I probably still have a month or two. Purchased from silencer shop on June 2nd. Check cashed July 12.just like the form 1s I am wondering where the plateau is? On the form 1’s the closer you got to the cut off date the longer it took per days waited. If I went by forms submitted in May the wait time was X days, yet when I got to my date 6-16 the date was X date plus another 30 days. I hope I am making sense.

This is my first post in this forum. I purchased can June 2nd, Silencer shop said form 3 was approved July 8th. Any idea when I should look to get stamp. I have been able to visit with my can, but the visits are supervised and I cant take it out of the store.

I am trying to figure out if the control numbers for silencers are theme as for SBR. If that is the case I am trying to figure out if anyone has something that was accepted about the same date as my silencer form 3 was approved. 7-12.
