Approximately 462 days from check cashed to suppressor in hand. 28 days from approval to stamp.

Have you received your stamp yet. Mine was approved the same day and I’m still waiting for the call from my dealer. I will probably call my dealer Monday just to check with them.

Contacted my representative on 10/21/20 received response that they would look into it on 10/26/20.

I just asked if I could speak with my examiner since mine has been over a year, and they took a message and called me back.

Oklahoma for me, I talked to my dealer and he has had several come back pretty quick. I’m hoping they clear my background check and get mine approved soon.

I never have issues buying guns either. It’s ridiculous for a background check to take anywhere close to a year.

That sounds pretty ridiculous that they wouldn’t be able to find that information on their own, and see that those had already been taken care of. I shouldn’t have anything like that to worry about. Hopefully you get lucky the second time around and it comes back quick.

Looks like I am on the same course as you currently sitting at just over 13 months since check cashed. I was finally able to get some more information and they told me they are waiting on FBI background check.

I am going to call again next week and ask to speak with my examiner. My dealer said he had stamps coming back within 5-6 months.

I called today and was told still pending.

I called on August 6th. I will probably wait until the first of September and call again.

At this point I would be happy just to be told approved. I can wait for stamp but being told still pending almost a year later is ridiculous.

How do you talk to your examiner? I have always just called the NFA help line and given them all the info to check status.

Thanks I had a buddy whose stamp was cashed 8/28/19 and he just got his approved stamp the end of July. It’s ridiculous that it takes so long.

I’m not quite that far but I am coming up on the one year mark the 27th of this month.

Yes mine was cashed 08/27/19 as well. It is definitely depressing seeing all of these 6-8 month turn arounds. I have called a probably 3 times when it started getting close to what the tracker listed as wait times based on our tax stamp cashed date.

I resigned myself to the fact that I was probably going to be in the year club. Last time I called was almost a month ago and it was still pending. I haven’t heard anything from my dealer yet. I might call again beginning of August unless by some miracle I get a call from my dealer.
