Just got off the phone with the examiner on one of my Form 4 Trust submissions.
They were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Found out their original submission to the FBI did not go through so was resent about a month later.
They did indicate that ALL OF THE SUBMISSIONS DO GO TO THE FBI for BGC’s.
Some are back quickly and some not.
Well, looks like I’m caught up in the wait as well. Been in the FBI Background Check que for over a month now.
They must be swamped.
Oh well, it could be worse according to some of the wait times I’ve seen being posted.
Since the submitted forms, fingerprints, photos etc., are required to be re-submitted every two years, when does that clock start?
Approval of stamp?
Since it appears to be taking about 1 year for approvals that would eat up a whole year of the two years.
Enter the date manually like mm/dad/yyyy and press “Done”.
The calendar will then pop up to that date/month/year.
Just tap on the date you want and it will be entered.
Worked for me.
Hope it will for you.
Just an FYI for what it’s worth.
In speaking with someone on the incoming phone line there at the NFA Branch, it was mentioned that after approval the paperwork goes to the STAMP issuers and then mailed.
