Approved 1/10/18 based on my phone call today, waiting on the stamp to arrive at my FFL/SOT

I just bought a Sparrow 22 at a LGS and filed as an individual.

So there was an issue with your form 3? How is that SS’s fault again? You know this process takes a long time and it sucks, right?

OMG, I am going to call and give them what for even though I don’t have a dog in the fight… they delayed your 10 month wait by at least a week… ::rolling eyes::

Real reality, the throughput has increased a lot since 2015. I think 3-4 months for the remaining pre 41f stuff, definitely speculative, is about right. Then I think the average approval time will spiral down pretty quickly to about 3 months. So the Omega that I purchased 03/20/17 should be approved 11/20/17

I am excited to see what happens with approval dates as the glut of pre-41f starts to clear the system.
