Needed a dealer to receive some silencers I wanted to buy through SilencerShop.com. I'd owned NFA items before, but only Form 1 stuff - both as an individual and through a trust. I used the SilencerShop search feature and located a Powered By dealer close to home. Checked out their website, local reviews, Facebook, and forum on MDShooters.com before giving them a call. Dan explained how everything would work: buy online, Silencershop would submit the Form 3 and Form 4, ship the suppressor, and eventually I'd get a call to come pick it up. Seemed pretty easy. Othe than the ~8 month wait, it was! I came in, did a 4473 form as the trustee receiving the item, and that was it. Also picked up a Silencerco threaded G17 barrel, Winchester subsonic 149gr 9mm, and Aguila subsonic .22LR they had in stock.
