Is there now some uber-titanium that will hold up in a suppressor?

Hello,

I don’t get it. When the G5 came out everyone was poo-pooing Ti saying how it won’t hold up in a suppressor, will get brittle, erode, make you break out, cause you to lose your hair, and rape your dog. There were numerous statements made about how horrible it was for GemTech to use Ti in their cans. I took it with a grain of salt, but figured that the manufacturers making those claims must know more than I do.

Now it seems like just about everyone is using Ti in their suppressors, and even coming out with all Ti suppressors. What gives? Is there now some uber-titanium that will hold up in a suppressor?

Please help
