6/10/2018 6 months into approval Dealer Runner Runner Guns (Richard O’Neil) in Texas goes out of business. ATF investigates revokes license, confiscates weapons, the owner refuses to cooperate, and return 40ish suppressors.7/13/2019 Landlord finds suppressors in closet in abandoned business (Runner Runner Guns)
NFA refuses to approve the remaining stamps and issued refunds.
7/11/2019 Process starts all over with a new dealer and I go to the bottom of the list…
9/2/2020 STILL WAITING……. shows “Currently Pending”

Check cashed 7/6/19 and still pending what do you mean by recourse?I am going to call again next week and ask to speak with my examiner. My dealer said he had stamps coming back within 5-6 months.
Man that is horrible I hope they get you straight out soon It’s sad that we actually have to wait this long When others are getting them back in months I’ve been waiting 5 months just for them to complete my background check currently at 14 months I sure hope somebody does their job and gets the instant background check done soon

Same to you it’s ridiculous for it to take anywhere close to a year. I hope you get some good news soon also.

Approved: 09/01/20Second suppressor purchased one month later still pending so too far apart to be batches I guess. I’m thrilled with the 4 month approval time. I was all set on a 12 month wait. Now the delivery of the stamp wait is on.
Update, tax stamp in hand.

144 days from approval to tax stamp received.Sorry, it wouldn’t let me update my previous post. I had the wording wrong on wait times. I should have said, “144 days from check cashed to tax stamp received.”

Looks like I am on the same course as you currently sitting at just over 13 months since check cashed. I was finally able to get some more information and they told me they are waiting on FBI background check.
Yeah got bad news at 15 months Background check was sent back open which means they didn’t make a decision was told I would have to do an FBI background check on myself to find out what updated information they needed. After doing the FBI background check found out it was from two traffic attachments 13 years ago that had been paid they just didn’t have the court minutes so I had to get Certified copies and send them to my state police then I could resubmit my form 4 start over
That sounds pretty ridiculous that they wouldn’t be able to find that information on their own, and see that those had already been taken care of. I shouldn’t have anything like that to worry about. Hopefully you get lucky the second time around and it comes back quick.
