  I hope you don’t have to wait as long as me to get approved because you know it’s another month and a half to get your stamp after approval.

  Thanks I had a buddy whose stamp was cashed 8/28/19 and he just got his approved stamp the end of July. It’s ridiculous that it takes so long.

  I actually talked to my Examiner at 9 months he told me my background check was delayed and was just waiting to hear back from the FBI which to me is crazy because I have a Louisiana concealed carry license and had to have an FBI background check and nics background check I was approved quickly and had my license within 12 days which allows me to buy firearms without a background check but now I’m stuck in the black hole over 4 months on a background check

  How do you talk to your examiner? I have always just called the NFA help line and given them all the info to check status.

  When I called the helpline I told the person answering the phone I had to pass off some information to my Examiner and they patch you through to their answering machine you have to leave your information on the answering machine and your examiner will call you back I got lucky and he called back in 5 minutes

  I feel your pain… mine check was cashed 8/29/19 and still nothing. They need to revise the process so that non-lethal devices are fast tracked in 90 days period! This sucks! Congratulations to those who got their stamps fast!

  How do you get to speak to an examiner? I’m two weeks shy of a full year wait for a suppressor.

  Thanks. I just figured out the examiner side of things: call the NFA Branch at 304-616-4500 and have your name or name of the trust, serial number, and the transferor name (“Billy Bob Firearms” for example).
  They just informed me my Form 4 Trust was approved on July 20, 2020 and it takes up to 45 days to receive the stamp. So I should see it sometime early September.
  My check was cashed on Aug 29, 2020 so that would put my Form 4 Trust process time to receive stamp at about 385 days or so.

  Congratulations. Jackary88 & I arm both check cashed dates of 8-27-2019, so hopefully our applications are getting close as well.
  Funny story, 7-20-2020 is the last time I called and was told pending.

  At this point I would be happy just to be told approved. I can wait for stamp but being told still pending almost a year later is ridiculous.
