Is it just me or does everyone else have to go to the last page (page 56) of this particular post area to read the newest posts? Seems like when I click Form 4 individual I should be looking at the latest posts not the oldest posts. To whomever is admin’ing this page please fix this.

Hell, they wont get rid of LesGemn spamming the forums, what makes you think they will do a thing like that?

This website was killed the day silencershop bought it.

The corpse has just been slowly rotting away for the last 2 and a half years.

It may be a dying corpse but from what I found there isn’t another site that helps ease the pain of waiting like this site does. If anything it gives you dates that you can reference to sort of be able to gauge where your application process is at. If there is a better option out there please share with the group I’d be more than willing to jump ship to a better option.

Shame. This used to be a very helpful site.

As I was writing a note to whoever is running this show I noticed the LesGemm spam postings are gone. Somebody listened and took action it looks like. Now if they can make it so I get the latest post at the top of the page instead of on the last page at the bottom. If your listening moderator please change that also, thank you.

Not bad but very limited. What I like about this site is the forum. The fact that we can talk to each other. I trust you guys more than I do the moderators of this site.

I agree with all of the pet peeves people have listed about this site. For the fourth time I will register mine. It’s the bar on graph labeled, “F4 Individual – EFile”. According to Silencer Shop, “As of April, 2014 the ATF has not been accepting new Form 4 submissions via eForms.” So what data is represented on those bars on the 12 and 3 month graphs? I must note that the numbers on that bar do change. How can that be?

    AR15.com (dedicated subforum to nfa)
    M4Carbine.net (dedicated subforum to nfa)
    pistol-forum.com (dedicated subforum to nfa)
Tons of state and regional specific forums, I don’t know where you’re from, but a little google will help you there.

Capitol armory also has a tracker.

AR15.com has an entire forum dedicated to NFA, with a ton of knowledge there, industry experts, and people that have been doing the NFA thing since way back when you could buy a new machinegun. Not only NFA, but while you’re waiting you can read around the other parts of all those sites (arfcom, m4 and pistol forum) and probably learn a lot.

The point is, this forum is honestly just about the worst source for anything. It’s low traffic and low membership compared to the main internet gun boards. The only thing it has going for it is the colorful graph. Most other sites just have threads with approval times listed, which is usually just as good. We’re all only looking at the latest approvals on the graph anyway to see where we are.

That moment you are sitting at 11 months and it still has not gone to a agent and you send off your second one that finally showed up at the dealer… -sigh-

Those numbers are painful to hear. It’s got to be a fluke like your file slid behind the processors desk.

I don’t understand your numbers Dean. Like coagula13 I wonder why it took 9 months between the time you bought your suppressor and when the check was cashed. I’ve never heard anything like that. According to the tracker the average is 28 days for that to happen. So 9 months? Also, with every suppressor I’ve purchased I’ve turned in the Form 4 along with the $200 payment. So why did you send in your form nearly 3 months after you sent in your money? Your timeline is truly strange.

Sorry about that, the FFL lost my checks for SBR and Hybrid can!!! I am partially blame not checking back with the dealer but when I called NFA it was not pending or in their system at all, and didn’t realize that I should be concerned. Resubmitted package in May 2018, but everything great now, Christmas in July!!!! Just emailed both approved!!!

They were both approved July 1st, called my FFL on July 8th and the stamps are in, picked up both SBR and Hybrid 46 same day!!! Funny did not receive call from FFL, I called them!! Will not be using them again.

Did the FFL tell you how long they had the stamps? My first stamp took about a week, maybe a hair more, to get to my dealer after it was approved. They might have just gotten it. There are some people I have seen complain that it took almost a month for the stamps to arrive at dealers because the NFA will approve them, and then they just sit on peoples desk till they are ready to make a shipment.

I believe he just got them on July 8th, approved on July 1st, 7 days not bad. With both stamps in hand, I noticed one of the forms the FFL signed date was forwarded dated to August 8, 2018!!! Which means my check was cashed on May 25, 2018 and not logged until August 16th. I believe, NFA just held/waited the forms to let the date lapse, then started approval process, rather than returning it to FFL for re-submission. But once I was told I was approved, I called the FFL 6 days later, I was not going to wait for them to contact me. Oh yes, FFL is changing its name to different company. Bad reviews?

Wonder why they are changing their name….

Question on threads, this will be my first handgun can & I just ordered CGS group Nautilus 45. The booster housing/fixed barrel adaptors are they interchangeable manufacture to manufacture? Besides my handguns I also want to run this can for 300 B.O. subs with cast bullets. With the excellent source of lead I have, I won’t be buying bullets for this gun. Cgs said they are in the process of development…. worse case by the time I get this out of Nfa jail Cgs will have them on the shelves lol
