Agree not expecting an approval anytime soon. ATF hasn’t even given me a “submitted” date yet. They were submitted over a month ago now. I kind of look at it like a drive through window where they make you wait to place your order so they don’t get dinged on how long it actually takes because someone at corporate will have their head. Kinda cheating the system. Pending research typically takes 2-10 business days which is a totally acceptable amount of time. I am on business day 23 and counting. And I am sorry COVID is not an excuse the private sector has for the most part figured it out. It is all about managing expectations and they do a very poor job of setting/managing expectations and hitting a consistent and reasonable target which is what my contact my senators and congressman was about. I also let them know that HPA 2020 needed passed so we don’t need to go through ATF for these noise reduction devices.
Anyone get their eform 1 individual supressor recently? We are hoping against better judgement that we will receive our approval prior to our hog hunt 3/25/21. submitted & recieved on 2/15/21, fingerprints received 2/19/21. I just called to check on status and was told 60 days, don’t know if that is the stock answer now or if that is legit. Anyone who recently received approval, should I give up hope? Thanks.
I have had 2 approved 34 days for both after submit date. Still waiting on sbr it is taking longer at about 40 now.
My brothers first F1 eFile SBR submission was three months ago. Still waiting.

Things have certainly slowed down as the year has progressed.Submitted eForm 1 under a trust name on 4/18/21.
Fingerprints delivered to ATF on 4/22/21.
Received email approval on 5/23/21.
Total number of days: 35.Submitted eform1 for a suppressor under a trust on 6/22/21.
Prints got to ATF on 6/25/21.
Received email approval with stamp on 7/14/21.
Total number of days: 22
I submitted a 24 month exception for the trust which I read helps speed things up. I also did not enter a model which the eform instructions said helps speed things. I did have to submit a serial number.Filed on 7/17/21, submitted and paid for a tax stamp on 7/19/21, approved today with emails 8/1/21
Filed Form 1 as individual for supressor, it only took like 12 days, did I do something wrong? I got the emails saying approved and everything.
