Well if you look around on this forum. You will find where a dealer did NOT call the guy that purchased the item. And i think it was like from Thanksgiving time. So you are your best advocate. Keep track of ALL dates (even if they tell you still pending),keep copys of all forms(because when you call the BATFE your going to need all of thar info.) I deal with 2 large dealers they both have a metric shit ton of NFA stuff out. My one guys wife does all his form 1&2. She asks that when you find that you have a “APPROVAL DATE”. Then call her, that moves you on her list to the watching for stamp board. Then as soon as it arrives, you get the call for a appt.to come fill out the remaining paper work. And off you go, forgetting about the last 7-10 months of WAITING….
