I just called the ATF and they said the wait time might be going over 13 months. The ATF has had my suppressor paper work for over 10 months now, and it is yet to be assigned to an examiner.
I used silencer shop, the paperwork has a bar code the ATF can scan and my information is populated on the computer. How hard is it to hit a button to do a background check and mail a stamp? Apparently this arduous task takes over 10 months! One could build a new house or conceive and deliver a new human into the world in this time. The Government can figure out how to scan a bar code and hit a button in the same time period.
This is unbelievable!
