The transfer tax for Silencer Shop transfers are usually paid before initiating the transfer. This is done by selecting and paying for a NFA tax stamp through Silencer Shop. The transferee goes through the automated form process with Silencer Shop resulting in the NFA form submission. Silencer Shop sends in the payment for the transfer (the transferee already paid for it). Orders are updated at Silencer Shop with the date that the charge was processed from their account. The transferee shouldn’t see additional charges.
