Hey all, first time NFA buyer here, started my long wait about march 22 2017.. Been looking for a long time and finally pulled the trigger on a hsilencerCo hybrid46.. Anybody have any hands in with this can? Planning on using it on 44mag rifle and a 458 socom! I’m drooling over some other cans ALREADY so I’ll be pulling the trigger on a second can shortly! Thanks again crew!

I’ve had my Hybrid since mid-fall. I’ve been using it on my MPX mostly, but have also used it on several 223s and a 300BLK. It’s a bigger can than my Omega and seems to suppress a little bit better on .30 and up. I do have to say that it is much heavier than advertised, 6-8oz heavier depending on measuring device. 458 SOCOM is in my future. I’m heavily debating whether to get a 10.5″ or 16″ because of the “official” ratings. Word out there is it’ll be just fine on the sbr. The muzzle pressure is significantly less than the rated 338LM in 18″.

You think the hybrid will do well with the 44 mag and 458?

I’m sure it will, though I have no experience. Being a .46 bore, I can’t image that there’d be a problem. Another dream of mine is to get a 357 or 45 colt or 45/70 lever gun and thread it. That would be super quiet

I first got my eye set on the hybrid when a friend of mine had his 45/70 marlin threaded and put a hybrid on it to hunt with! Man that is a quite gun that packs a punch, since it did so well in the 45/70 I figured it would do well on the 44 and 458 and it being my first can I could play around with it on other guns as well while I make my mind up and wait on other suppressors
